Title: On comprehensive value of the social and solidarity economy, connection with the economy of Francesco
Abstract: El artículo intenta estudiar la convergencia entre los principios de la Economía de Francisco (EdF) 
	y la Economía Social y Solidaria (ESS) desde el enfoque del institucionalismo económico. La EdF propone 
	una economía ética, centrada en el bien común, justicia social y sostenibilidad, en contraste con el 
	modelo económico tradicional enfocado en el lucro individual. La ESS, por su parte, ofrece un modelo 
	inclusivo y cooperativo que prioriza el bienestar colectivo. Mediante un análisis detallado, el trabajo 
	explora cómo principios de la EdF, como la paz, el cuidado ambiental y el respeto cultural, se alinean 
	con los valores comunes de la ESS. Además, clasifica esta relación en tres niveles de intensidad (fuerte, 
	moderada y débil), reflejando la afinidad entre ambos modelos. La investigación concluye que la ESS 
	proporciona una estructura organizativa concreta que puede materializar los ideales de la EdF, 
	promoviendo una economía que responde a necesidades sociales y ambientales. El estudio incluye evidencia 
	de investigaciones sobre el impacto económico y social de empresas de la ESS en Colombia y su contribución 
	a transformar vidas. También sugiere enfoques alternativos al PIB para valorar los aportes integrales de 
	estas entidades y para orientar políticas públicas que promuevan la sostenibilidad y la justicia social.
Abstract: The article attempts to study the possible convergence between the principles of the Economy of Francesco 
	(EoF) and the Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) from the perspective of economic institutionalism. The 
	EoF proposes an ethical economy focused on the common good, social justice, and sustainability, contrasting 
	with the traditional profit-oriented economic model. The ESS, in turn, offers an inclusive and cooperative 
	model that prioritizes collective well-being. Through a detailed analysis, the study explores how EoF 
	principles, such as peace, environmental care, and cultural respect, align with the shared values of the ESS. 
	Additionally, it classifies this relationship into three levels of intensity (strong, moderate, and weak), 
	reflecting the affinity between the two models. The research concludes that the ESS provides a concrete 
	organizational structure that can materialize the ideals of the EoF, promoting an economy that addresses 
	social and environmental needs. The study includes evidence from research on the economic and social impact 
	of ESS enterprises in Colombia and their contribution to transforming lives. It also suggests alternative 
	approaches to GDP to value the integral contributions of these entities and guide public policies that 
	promote sustainability and social justice.
