Abstract: In this paper we look first at the methodology which McCloskey is attacking (and its relationship to the 
	methodology he thinks he is attacking). We then look at the benefits which a more rhetorical approach 
	might bring to the subject. Lastly we take up the surprising fact that McCloskey omits to discuss what 
	makes for good or bad rhetoric.
